Overall purpose of role:
- We are looking for strong C# backend developer who will join our Microservices work stream and will help to reimplement our monolith application into microservices architecture and migrate it to cloud platform.
Key Accountabilities:
- Implement, test, and bug-fix calculation workflows in C# microservices and monolith applications
- Review business & functional requirements and converting them into technical design
- Implementation of data sourcing from MS SQL database
- Research, analyze and present results in a professional format
Person Specification:
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking mind-set
- High sense of responsibility
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with R, Python or similar functional language etc
- Financial, banking, Credit/market risk domain knowledge
- Familiarity with SQL or other database query language
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices is plus
- Experience with .NET framework 3+ (experience with .NET Core is plus)
- Knowledge and experience with Kafka and MongoDB is plus
- Experience in Git, Jira, TeamCity, and Confluence is plus
