- Project for: Java/Spring/Kafka and a small part of frontend development in Angular
Role description:
- Building solutions for Fixed Income Financing Business, including Telos optimizers, inventory management systems, and service mesh infrastructure.
- You will design, develop and improve software solutions for distributed systems and microservices architecture, utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and modern engineering methodologies that provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
- This is a new strategic initiative that integrates with multiple internal systems and data sources across the organization.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong Java development experience
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts
- Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in containerization technologies
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Frentend experience with Angular or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
- Cloud platform experience
- Experience with service mesh technologies
- Experience with distributed caches
Accountabilities:
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
